MISSION
The
Goal of WomenSpeak Foundation is to empower survivors of physical and sexual
violence through education. Because there is often an overwhelming physiological and
psychological effect on the survivor, it is rational to assume that traditional treatments may
not always be effective in the treatment of the trauma-related symptoms. By focusing on
the physiological and psychological impact of sexual and physical violence on both
victims and their families, WomenSpeak strives to empower and assist victims in
rediscovering the power in their voices by encouraging them to SPEAK out against violent
acts
